My brother was the astronaut who shot this photo on the STS 58 mission; since he was photographing on behalf of NASA, his name is not directly linked to the photo. He was passionate about mountains, to include climbing. He was featured in National Geographic, noting that their map of Everest allowed him to specifically identify that he had captured the view of K2. It is a nice piece of art in its own right, but the backstory is meaningful to our family and we are glad we could acquire this art. We have bought both an acrylic version and a metal version; both are great mediums for this specific photo.

Photo’s great however for the second time delivery was not. You may want to look at that issue because it’s going to cause me to buy my artwork elsewhwere.

396 photos merged into one image using the lighten blending mode in photoshop. I think this one pretty much covers the colour spectrum of sunsets, lacking only the darker reds. I can't get enough of this technique! ATTENTION: I'm doing a limited edition of this print at 30x22.75 that is why the price is so high compared to the rest. About Matt Molloy
Matt Molloy is a 29 year old Canadian with a diploma in graphic design who loves most forms of art. He makes his own music, plays guitar and drums, but he will try to play any instrument he can get his hands on. He likes to draw, paint, and experiment with new art forms. Most recently his favorite form of art is photography, more specifically, timelapse photography. Growing up in a small town gave him an interest in nature early in life, and that interest still shows in his photos. He now lives on the shore of Lake Ontario, in another small town with a great view of thew sunset which he timelapes every chance he gets.
