Living in the beautiful Puget Sound area of Washington state gives me lots of subject matter for my paintings. Watercolor is my medium of choice and I love the way "happy accidents" can make a painting even more unique. SCUBA diving was a bit stressful so I turned my attention to painting imaginary scenes that brought calm instead of anxiety. Formally trained as a Commercial Artist, then a Building Designer (structural), and hold degrees in graphic design and business (with an emphasis on marketing).
