Such a gorgeous picture. The colors are vibrant and the detail is amazing. You can actually see grains of sand. The artist was easy to work with and very responsive. Delivery was as expected and the package arrived in perfect condition.

Artist's Description
This painting was commissioned by the Leonard J. Waxdeck's 24th Annual Bird Calling Contest that was held at the Piedmont High School Theater on May 21, 1987. The following evening the winners were featured on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Johnny held the artwork up on air for the television viewers and his audience during the show. This is the first time the artwork has been offered as a fine art print.
About Mark Fredrickson
Mark Fredrickson has worked as an illustrator and fine artist for over 36 years. His paintings and digital art have appeared numerous times on the covers and inside of Time Magazine, Business Week, Industry Week, Sports Illustrated, Golf Digest, The Village Voice, Mad Magazine and many others too numerous to mention. He has garnered many national awards for his work including a gold and silver medal from the Society of Illustrators.
